With his professional experience and knowledge of more than 35 years, Turhan has taken an active role in the establishment and work of multiple companies, associations and professional associations in the relevant sector. Turhan, who mainly represents clients who are domestic and foreign TV series, films, music and commercial producers, follows the production processes from beginning to end and provides legal support on any issue that may be needed.
Turhan, who has also carried out important studies in the fields of Corporate Law, Law of Obligations, Law of Contracts, Foreign Investments, Capital Markets Law and Energy Law and Crypto Assets, provides legal consultancy and advocacy services to local and foreign companies in different areas of law.
Besides Turhan holds trademark and patent attorney licenses and represents clients before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and he plays an active role in creating brand strategies for his clients with the legal consultancy service he offers.

Av. Nihal Çavuş Bal Partner, Attorney at Law
Attorney at Law Nihal Çavuş Bal completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Law between 2006-2010. Following her graduation, she completed her master’s degree in the field of Public Law at Istanbul University Faculty of Law.
Çavuş Bal, who completed her legal internship at Turhan & Turhan Law Firm, has been working at Turhan & Turhan Law Firm as a lawyer registered with the Istanbul Bar Association since 2011 and has been working as a managing lawyer & partner since 2016.
She provides advocacy and legal consultancy services to local and foreign companies and individuals, mainly in the fields of Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Labor Law, Law of Obligations, Contracts Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, Media and Performance Law and Personal Data Protection. She is also a trademark attorney and represents clients before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
The main tasks she manages include the establishment of domestic and foreign companies, share transfer, capital increase, amendment of the articles of association, preparation of general assembly and board of directors decisions and similar commercial transactions and processes; Providing legal consultancy and support to producer and advertiser clients on all matters they may need in the production processes of TV series, films, advertisements and similar production processes; consultancy and litigation in employee-employer disputes; Conducting litigation and reconciliation processes regarding intellectual and industrial rights violations.
She also actively continues her mediation activities by being registered in the mediators list of the Ministry of Justice of the RoT. She has an expert mediator certificate in the fields of commercial law, labor law and Intellectual and Industrial Property law and serves as a mediator in disputes within the scope of litigation and voluntary mediation.

Av. Özgür Nemutlu Attorney at Law
Attorney Özgür Nemutlu graduated from Istanbul Law School in 2003 and METU Business Administration in 1997. He completed his master’s degree on European Union Commercial Law at Leiden University.
Nemutlu, who has been practicing law since 2006, worked as a lawyer in multinational law firms before joining Turhan & Turhan Law Firm, and has represented many companies and real persons, especially in areas like Commercial Law, Law of Obligations, Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights. He provided legal consultancy services to his clients in mergers, share transfers and commercial transactions. Özgür Nemutlu is a mediation advocate and has also worked in entertainment and publishing companies as manager and board member.
Nemutlu, who is currently continuing his law doctorate studies at Istanbul University, is fluent in English.
Av. Cansu Korkmaz Attorney at Law
Attorney at Law Cansu Korkmaz completed her undergraduate degree at Marmara University Faculty of Law between 2017 and 2021.
Korkmaz, since the beginning of her legal internship, has been working at Turhan&Turhan Law Office, providing legal consultancy services to real and legal persons in different areas of law, mainly in Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, Corporate Law, Media and Performance Law, Contracts Law, Labour Law.
Korkmaz provides legal support in the field of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights, especially in all matters that may be needed in the production processes of producers and advertisers’ clients such as TV series, films, commercials, etc.; In addition, she plays an active role in the follow-up of clients’ trademarks, patents, designs, utility models, etc. before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and in litigation and settlement processes regarding infringements of intellectual and industrial property rights.
She also drafts articles of association, amendments to articles of association, capital decrease and increase, transfer of shares, etc. of domestic and foreign companies, carries out commercial registry procedures, works actively in non-commercial association and foundation transactions, is active in non-commercial association and foundation transactions, and provides litigation and advisory services in disputes in the field of commercial law.
